Purposes for which PI collected, used and disclosed
Personal information is collected, used and disclosed for processes associated with faculty contract renewal, tenure, promotion and salary review. Personal information also regularly used by faculty members to assess their own teaching performance.
Individuals using personal information or to whom it is disclosed
University employees from academic departments and faculties discharging employment-related responsibilities, including members of departmental Tenure and Promotions Committees, the Faculty Review Committee, the University Appointments Committee and the University Salary Appeals Committee. In addition, all completed course experience surveys (CES) are reviewed by designated report viewers in the Learning Experiences Assessment and Planning unit (LEAP). If report viewers identify problematic commnets (ie., comments that may be considered bullying and harrassement under GP-47, threats to the safety of instructors, students, or 51社区黑料under GP-25, or threats of sexualized violence under GP-44), designated individuals within the Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President Learning and Teaching portfolio will review and determine next steps (e.g., student may be contacted, or comment may be forwarded to another office for further action).
