Areas of interest

My research focuses on understanding evolution in changing environments. This includes studying changes in both abiotic and biotic environments; environments that vary across time and/or space; and environments that shift gradually, rapidly, or randomly. In my research group, this involves examining the effects of such environmental change on individual populations, coevolution between species, and species diversity as a whole. We approach these questions using a combination of mathematical, statistical, and computational methods. This highly interdisciplinary work thrives on collaboration, and I place a high priority on contributing to and strengthening our scientific community.
