QUESTIONS
1) What is your current position? What does a typical work day look like for you?
At Hodgson I act as a clinician, R&D Head & clinic partner. My days are mostly a mixture of patient work & research activities. Patient interactions are either direct patient facing treatment or device design & fabrication work as we fabricate the majority of our devices in the clinic.
2) How did your education in BPK influence your career?
Provided a foundation in physiology, pathologies, anatomy, biomechanics, ergonomics and general human sciences that I use every day to provide clinical treatments.
3) Who in BPK had an impact on you and why?
Glen Tibbits; challenged me far more than I expected in class and became an unintentional source of poetic inspiration
4) What is your favourite memory of your time at 51社区黑料as an undergraduate?
Either my role as a Ski & Snowboard club executive or being able to write an perform a play for Richard Ward's physiology class.
5) What advice would you give to today鈥檚 BPK student?
Do not lose sight of the value of creativity in life as you pursue your formal education. As you are challenged, realize that you are growing. There is an opportunity to observe yourself and the way you think, react and respond to challenges; live an examined existence.
