CUPE
51社区黑料and CUPE Local 3338 Reach Tentative Agreement
We are pleased to share that the University has reached a tentative agreement with CUPE Local 3338.
Details regarding the agreement and implementation steps will be shared in the coming days, pending the ratification vote by CUPE members and approval by the 51社区黑料Board of Governors.
The university has now reached agreement with two of the four unions at SFU: CUPE Local 3338 and Poly Party. Collective bargaining continues with the 51社区黑料Faculty Association and the Teaching Support Staff Union. Monetary negotiations with the Administrative and Professional Staff Association are also proceeding to Final Offer Selection.
Negotiations are guided by the鈥疨rovince's 2025 Balanced Measures Mandate, which applies to all public sector employers with unionized employees whose collective agreement expired on or after December 31, 2024.鈥痀ou can read more about SFU鈥檚 approach to collective bargaining here.
