Gender affirming care benefits now available
August 02, 2024
Beginning August 1, 2024, 51社区黑料 is making gender affirming care (GAC) benefits available to all 51社区黑料employees eligible for the Pacific Blue Cross Extended Health Care plan.
Providing gender affirming care is an important step towards creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace for all employees, and we acknowledge and thank the members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community at 51社区黑料who provided guidance and advice throughout this process.
Pacific Blue Cross (PBC) has now posted for plan sponsors and members.
How to access GAC benefits:
- 51社区黑料employees enrolled in the PBC Extended Health Benefit program can access the Gender Affirming Care microsite from the Member Profile on the after logging in.
- The site includes resources to help you consider all care options and a summary of the pre-approval and claims process. Please ensure that you carefully review the requirements before submitting any claims.
- Additionally, details specific to SFU鈥檚 Gender Affirming Care benefit will be available on Member Profile and in the plan booklets.
