Biography

Sian Tsuei (鈥淪hawn Tsu-ay鈥) is a practicing family physician with a Master鈥檚 of Health Sciences from UBC and Population Health Sciences PhD from Harvard University's T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor in UBC鈥檚 Department of Family Practice; Associate Faculty in UBC鈥檚 School of Population and Public Health; Adjunct Professor at SFU鈥檚 Faculty of Health Sciences; and Visiting Scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

His work focuses on understanding how health systems change, particularly in relation to technologies such as artificial intelligence and telemedicine. His work draws on both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. His theoretical lens draws mainly on organizational behaviour.

He serves on the AI Advisory Group of The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), and previously served on the Scientific Planning Committee for CFPC鈥檚 Roundtable on AI for Family Medicine.
