51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏ’s Science and Technology for Aging Research (STAR) Institute and the 411 Seniors Centre Society are inviting applications for a community-based researcher position.
Community-based services provide on-the-ground localized expertise to support older adults’ quality of life, sense of social connectedness, and empowerment. The 411 Seniors Centre Society in Vancouver and SFU’s STAR Institute are collaborating on a community-based project to enhance local information and referral services to better connect seniors and caregivers to the resources in their community. The Community-Based Researcher will be part of a province-wide Navigation & Peer Support (NPS) initiative sponsored, in part, through the United Way Lower Mainland Healthy Aging Strategy.
