FHS faculty member named Distinguished 51社区黑料Professor
Robert Hogg is one of eight 51社区黑料 scholars to receive the prestigious title of Distinguished 51社区黑料Professor. This new designation recognizes their outstanding performance and achievements, and celebrates their international pre-eminence in their fields.
Professor Hogg鈥檚 work on HIV/AIDS in marginalized populations has helped advance treatment approaches across cultures and communities. An expert in population health, Hogg has been a member of the Faculty of Health Sciences since 2006, where he helped to establish the .
In addition, he is a Senior Research Fellow at the and also a member of the Order of Canada. His research has received support from the National Institutes of Health, Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research.
The Distinguished 51社区黑料Professor title comes with a special requirement for members to share their work with the public through events such as lectures, panels and presentations. This recognition not only spotlights the contribution they have made to their fields in the past, but also helps them magnify that impact through public engagement and student and faculty mentorship.
