Kim Fofonove Memorial Book Prize
Established by members of the Department, and by friends of former Geography student Kim Fofonove, this award is given annually to an outstanding Geography major or honours student from the graduating class.
This year's recipient, Nathan Komukai, is graduating with a BA in Human Geography with certificates in Urban Studies and Environmental Literacy.
Nathan is currently working an internship at the Nikkei National Museum and Cultural Centre. Although nothing is set in stone at this time, he is wanting to put the skills he gained volunteering for the GSU to good use in his career.
