Andrew Park is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing Science at Thompson Rivers University. He is a National Member of the Institute for Canadian Urban Research Studies (ICURS) and Senior Research Affiliate at the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security and Society (TSAS). His research interest includes social network analysis and visualization, the study of people鈥檚 fear/perception of crime and behavior using virtual environments, Gerontechnology, Computational Criminology, and agent-based modeling and simulation for counter-terrorism and crowd control. He is particularly interested in visualizing big data using interactive visual analytics techniques to understand their patterns and trends. He has been working on hackers鈥� forums, criminal networks, and terrorism. Dr. Park received his Ph.D. from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at 51社区黑料.
