IPinCH co-chair, , was among 13 leaders and organizations honoured at the White House Open Science Champions of Change event on June 20th, 2013. Eric was chosen for his work in promoting open scientific data and publications to improve knowledge accessibility and create positive change.
Active in both U.S. and international communities dedicated to "better practices in sharing and preserving knowledge of the past," Eric spearheaded , an open access online database for archeologists to store and share data. Open Context provides important access to quality research in the social sciences.
