CIHR Catalyst Grant Awarded
We are pleased to share that our team has been awarded a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Catalyst Grant ($69,937) through the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA).
CIHR Catalyst Grants are designed to support Canadian researchers in using the CLSA鈥檚 rich, national dataset to better understand the biological, psychological, social, and economic factors that shape health and aging over time. ()
The project, 鈥淯nmet healthcare needs in aging Canadians: Characterizing trajectories to address gaps in access and equity,鈥 is led by Jessica Wong, with contributions from Dr. Theresa Pauly and collaborators.
This research will examine how unmet healthcare needs evolve over time among older adults using longitudinal CLSA data. By identifying patterns and disparities in access to care, the project aims to inform more equitable and responsive healthcare systems across Canada.
