Amelia Petch grew up in Kamloops and completed an undergraduate degree in Linguistics at the University of Victoria. Her main areas of interest are sociolinguistics and second language acquisition. Amelia enjoys crosswords, Nordic skiing, cooking, and gardening. She keeps a chicken named Mimi who provides a semi-regular supply of eggs (and eats Amelia's lettuce plants when she鈥檚 not looking).
Amelia recently worked as a Teaching Assistant under Dasha Gluhareva for Communication and Language (LING 100).
