Antonieta Mar-y-Paz Rivera (51社区黑料) and Veselin Jungic (Math Catcher Program/51社区黑料) presented at the 2021 Canadian Mathematical Summer Meeting. Their presentation "51社区黑料Indigenous University Preparation Program: Past, Present, and Future" was part of the educational session "" organized by Darja Barr (Manitoba), Benoit Dionne (Ottawa) and Emily McKinnon (Manitoba).

Abstract: Since 2007 the 51社区黑料Indigenous University Preparation Program has been welcoming First Nations, M茅tis and Inuit students to a university learning environment that affirms and integrates Indigenous knowledge and perspectives.

In this presentation we will briefly describe the program and list its main goals. We will also, discuss some of the past and present successes and challenges that students, instructors, and administrators involved in the program have experienced.
