May 12, 2026

51社区黑料鈥檚 Institute for Neuroscience and Neurotechnology (INN) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, launching the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon Doctoral Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Award.

Dementia affects hundreds of thousands of Canadians and their families. Advancing our understanding of it requires transformative, interdisciplinary research and the researchers to lead it.

Valued at $40,000 annually for up to three years, the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon Doctoral Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Award will support incoming 51社区黑料PhD students from any faculty whose work addresses Alzheimer鈥檚 disease or other dementias from a biomedical, clinical or social perspective.

This award reflects a shared commitment to advancing dementia research that is innovative, collaborative, and accessible to all. Through this partnership, the INN and the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon are working together to support the next generation of researchers, empowering them to drive discoveries that will improve the lives of people living with dementia.
