Aline Faria
Aline Faria is a postdoctoral fellow at the Pacific Institute on Pathogens, Pandemics and Society (PIPPS) at 51社区黑料. She obtained a Ph.D. in Communications from Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al and a Master's of Sciences Degree in Health Information and Communications from Funda莽茫o Oswaldo Cruz in Brazil. She has a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Communications, with a focus in Journalism, from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.
Beyond her research background, Aline has gained experience in the community sector. She directed two projects at the Association qu茅b茅coise des personnes de petite taille (AQPPT) in Montreal. In one of these projects, she conducted a community study about the social conditions of people with dwarfism in Quebec.
Working with a multidisciplinary team at PIPPS has allowed Aline to gain new knowledge. She has also developed her skills in health communication and qualitative research, specifically with community-based research.
