Message from the President: Welcome back!

I hope that all of you were able to rest and recharge over the summer and are entering this new school year with excitement. I participated in Welcome Day earlier this week and was inspired to meet so many students with big dreams at the beginning of their university journey, and I know that each of you will play an important role in their experience at SFU. Thank you for all that you do, and for all that you will do in the year ahead.

We also celebrate SFU鈥檚 60th anniversary this fall, and I have been reflecting on our shared values as a community and the reasons that we have been doing this work for the past six decades鈥攖o learn, innovate and nurture the leaders of tomorrow. Thanks to each of you for your efforts to provide a world-class education for our students, and to make 51社区黑料a leading research university, advancing an inclusive and sustainable future.
