Dr. Sharon Hou is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at 51社区黑料, and Psychologist and Investigator at BC Children's Hospital and the Research Institute. Dr. Hou's research program is focused on advancing understanding of the social and cultural influences on child health, with a focus on capturing the perspectives and experiences of racialized youth with serious and life-threatening illnesses. Knowledge gathered informs the co-creation, implementation, and evaluation of culturally responsive interventions for underrepresented and underserved populations of children and families.
