Other Policies
To serve as a hub for intensive student and post-doctoral research training, SFU's Centre for Advanced Imaging requires that all researchers working on our site undergo a dedicated safety training process and observe best practices in relation to the research participants, patients, staff and other researchers present in our facility.
All researchers working in SCAI, whether as Research Coordinators (those interacting with research participants) or Data Processors (those involved only in data analysis) are required to undergo training and agree to the roles and responsibilities as laid out in the Research Coordinator Agreement.
Principal investigators are considered co-responsible for the actions of their researchers whilst they are in SCAI.
