Grant Application Stage

• Contact our Operations Director to open discussion of the feasibility of conducting your study, and the study protocols and resources available.
• We operate on a cost-recovery basis. For current rates and cancellation policy, see our Fee Schedule.

Ethics Approval Stage

• It is recommended that you incorporate the text for the contraindications to MRI and/or MEG into your consent forms.
• A description of the MRI Incidental Finding process may also be appropriate for inclusion in your ethics application.

Study Initiation Stage

• Submit a study initiation form and a copy of your participant consent form to our Operations Director. This step can be performed while ethics approval is still pending.
• You will be contacted once the study is approved or if further information is required.
• After study approval, a rate agreement will be sent.
• Once the rate agreement has been signed and returned, ethics approval obtained, and protocols are approved your study may start.

Preparing Your Study Team

The study Research Coordinators (i.e., your team members responsible for scheduling and accompanying participants to the Centre) will need to:

• Read and accept the responsibilities of Research Coordinators at the Centre as laid out in the Research Coordinator Agreement.
• Undergo a safety and facility orientation (contact the Operations Director to arrange).
• Register for access to Centre bookings via 51社区黑料Calpendo.
• Complete a data access agreement.

Preparing Your Study

• If paradigm or data acquisition development are needed, work with our MRI and MEG Leads and Technologists to implement them on our instruments.
• Create a unique MEG Run Sheet for your study based off our template.
• Pilot your paradigm and data acquisition to ensure data quality and that your processing workflows function properly

Running Your Study

• When recruiting participants, fill out the鈥痯re-screening form for MEG and MRI as appropriate.
• Make your booking via Calpendo for MEG and/or MRI as appropriate.
• Provide directions for arrival and accompany your participant during their study visit.
• Retrieve your data via the server following these instructions.
