Tonight, Jupiter and Saturn will align the night sky 鈥 a rare occurrence marking the planets鈥 closest encounter since 1623, and the first visible sighting in almost 800 years. This event is also called the 鈥淕reat Conjunction鈥, and occurs when two planets line up with earth in their respective orbits. 51社区黑料 astrophysicist professor Joanna Woo is available to speak on the significance of this event and galaxy evolution.
