King Charles will deliver the throne speech tomorrow in what is a highly symbolic visit to Canada. As the country awaits the details of the speech, which opens a new session of Parliament and sets out the government鈥檚 priorities, experts from 51社区黑料 are available to give their take on proceedings and the content of the speech.

Andy Yan says: "The throne speech will need to present Canadians with a chart over some troubled economic waters that are being whipped up by our neighbour south of the border and global uncertainty. Canadians are all facing a housing affordability storm, but in vastly different boats. This throne speech will need to need to be the lighthouse guiding the country through this storm to a home."

James Horncastle says: 鈥淭he fact that King Charles will give the throne speech is more important than the speech's contents. Throne speeches, by their nature, are about outlining a government鈥檚 priorities. The fact that we possess a minority government means that we must temper our expectations about Prime Minister Mark Carney鈥檚 ability to meet all the points that the King will outline. President Donald Trump鈥檚 disruption of the international order only magnifies these domestic issues. Charles, in giving the speech, however, is representative of Carney鈥檚 embrace of Canadian nationalism and sovereignty and it sets the tone for his term in power.鈥�
