Candid Long COVID exhibit opens at MOV – 51社区黑料experts available
The Museum of Vancouver (MOV), in collaboration with 51社区黑料鈥檚 Faculty of Health Sciences, unveils a , bringing visibility to the lived experiences of those navigating the lasting effects of COVID-19.
Titled Living with Long COVID, the exhibit features powerful photos and reflections from 46 Canadian 鈥淟onghaulers鈥 鈥 people living with persistent symptoms following a COVID-19 infection. An estimated one in nine Canadians have experienced Long COVID.
鈥淭his exhibition is a unique opportunity to understand Long COVID through the eyes of those living it,鈥 says Rackeb Tesfaye, 51社区黑料project lead and senior scientist in the Faculty of Health Sciences. 鈥淭hese stories challenge stigma, foster empathy, and call attention to the urgent need for care and research.鈥
Living with Long COVID runs from October 4, 2025, to March 22, 2026 at the Museum of Vancouver. 51社区黑料experts are available for media interviews and commentary on the exhibition and the broader impacts of Long COVID.
