For students who have taken CHEM 282, it offers the opportunity to complete the more comprehensive treatment of Organic Chemistry II. It covers advanced organic reactions, including modern catalytic and radical-based transformations, their mechanisms, and their use in the synthesis of biologically relevant target molecules. Prerequisite: CHEM 282 with a minimum of C+, or permission of the Department. Students with credit for CHEM 283 may not take this course for further credit.
