Introduction to Mathematical Proofs and Combinatorics MATH 141W (3)
Focuses on the skills required to prove statements mathematically. Students learn how to construct rigorous proofs in a wide variety of areas of mathematics through the various topics that will be introduced in the course. This course is designed to support students planning to enroll into MACM 201 or MATH 242. Prerequisite: Pre-Calculus 12 with a grade of at least B or one of MATH 100, MATH 110, MATH 150, MATH 151, MATH 154, MATH 157, with a grade of at least C-. Writing.
