Health Policy PLCY 302 (4)
Examines the root causes of health and the actors, institutions, and forces shaping health and healthcare policy in Canada and globally. Students explore and analyze key health policy challenges, assess policy responses, and consider solutions for addressing inequitable health outcomes, with attention to the historical, political, and economic contexts of health policy and practice. Prerequisite: PLCY 100 and PLCY 200. Students with credit for PLCY 401 under the title "Health Policy" may not take this course for further credit.
