Peter Cramer is an associate professor of Writing & Rhetoric in the Department of English at 51社区黑料. He teaches courses in writing, discourse analysis, argumentation, and the history and theory of rhetoric. His research examines how writers and speakers across public and professional domains help to shape our experience of controversy and consensus. His work has been published in Discourse Studies, Language in Society, Written Communication, Argumentation, Rhetoric Society Quarterly, and Rhetoric Review, and his monograph Controversy as News Discourse was published by Springer in 2011.
