51社区黑料Reads is a virtual book club created to connect alumni鈥攁nd the greater 51社区黑料community鈥攚ith one another over the discussion of books. There is no cost to join. All you need is the book and some reading time. Check out what we're reading below.
Why should you join?

- Discover new books! It鈥檚 an opportunity to experience new authors and explore different genres. You鈥檒l even get a chance to vote on which upcoming titles you want to read.

How it works
- Sign up for the book club鈥攊t鈥檚 free!
- Pick up a copy of the current book and start reading. Book selections are read over eight weeks; a suggested reading schedule is provided.
- Sign into the forum and join the discussion, guided by a moderator. Access to discussions are available 24/7鈥攜ou can participate from anywhere in the world.

PBC Guru collects personal information for participation in the 51社区黑料鈥檚 鈥51社区黑料Reads online book club鈥 virtual book club under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) (RSBC 1996, c.165).
The personal information collected may include your name, email address, program or alumni affiliation, reading preferences, and any information you choose to provide when participating in book-club discussions or activities.
This information is required to administer your participation in the virtual book club, including enrolling you in the program, sending updates and reading materials, facilitating discussion forums, and communicating with you about book-club activities.
To provide these services, your personal information may be shared with the external book-club service provider (PBC Guru) engaged by the University, which will use the information only for the purpose of delivering book-club programming on the University鈥檚 behalf.
