Board of Governors Meeting Schedule

Meeting dates for the Board of Governors, Board Committees, and submission deadline for materials are listed below.

Board Committees are as follows:

• Audit Committee (AC) 
• Executive Committee (EC)
  
• Finance, Investments and Property Committee (FIPC)
  
• Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee (GRCC)
• Ad-hoc Committee (AHC) meetings are held where required

Open Board meetings are offered in a hybrid format to include opportunities for engagement in-person and online.   

Members of the public may be invited to participate in open meetings if they have submitted an agenda item that is approved, they have been identified as a resource to the topic, or they have been approved to speak to an agenda item. If you would like to propose an agenda item, or request to speak to an existing agenda item, visit the Board Submission Instructions page for more information.

Space in the gallery at open meetings will be reserved for members of the public who wish to observe the Board’s operations. To attend in person or online, please complete a and respect the Guidelines for Attendees. Registration opens 2 weeks before the meeting date and closes 48 hours before the meeting for in person attendance and 24 hours for online attendance.  

This process ensures the community can witness the Board’s business in an open, transparent and public format while ensuring meetings are inclusive, safe and respectful for all.

2026 Committee and Board Meeting Schedule

The Board of Governors supports the fundamental right of academic freedom and peaceful protests and reminds our community of our policies including 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏpolicy S10.05 (Student Conduct), GP47 (Bullying and Harassment) and GP25 (Response to Violence and Threatening Behaviour) that govern conduct at these meetings.
