Human osteology workshop

On May 14-16 2025, Dr. Hugo Cardoso, Dr. Grace Zhang and Dr. Angela Silva Bessa organised a hands-on short course on human osteology with the assistance of PhD student Pegah Goodarzi.
This lab-intensive learning experience was designed to address the training needs or interest of practicing archaeologists and professionals from related disciplines, such as heritage managers and museum personnel, as well as coroners, medical and medicolegal personnel, and members of police forces.
The learning materials used during this course were the skeletons of individuals of Portuguese origin under the temporary care of 51社区黑料.
