Slindile Khanyile

, a versatile journalist, editor is the CEO of Likhanyile Group which publishes Umbele, an award-winning isiZulu financial publication. She is also the director of Education Matters, an NPC that publishes Umkhanyisi, a dual-medium digital education publication distributed via WhatsApp. Slindile has more than 25 years’ experience in legacy and new media organisations. Previously, she served as the Editor of Isolezwe and is former Deputy Editor of the Daily News. She is the chairperson of the SANEF Media Freedom Sub-Committee and she also chairs the DUT Journalism Advisory Board. She also serves on the AIP and ARB boards. Slindile holds a Master’s in Leadership Studies from UKZN and was part of the inaugural cohort of the Executive Programme in Media Leadership at GIBS. 

Laura Rodriguez-Davis

Laura Rodriguez-Davis is a writer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She previously served as the Literature Section Editor with and currently serves as a Board Member. Her work can also be found in the Media Diversity Institute, SharedFuture News, YuVoice, and National Drama. She works at the Lyric Theatre.

Sadia Zaman

Sadia Zaman brings a wealth of media, arts, and not-for-profit experience to her role as CEO, Inspirit Foundation. Under her leadership, the Foundation has cemented its reputation as a bold and catalytic organization in carrying out its mission of racial, social and economic justice. Prior to joining the Foundation, Sadia held senior leadership roles at the Royal Ontario Museum, CBC, and Women in Film and Television-Toronto. Sadia began her career as a journalist, creating hundreds of hours of original, critically acclaimed content. She has won dozens of awards for her journalism and has been honoured for her leadership.  

Sadia is often invited to speak nationally and internationally on a range of issues, including leadership, equity (including gender), narrative change, as well as specific subjects related to nonprofit and charitable organizations.
