
Ilhan Abdullahi
Ilhan Abdullahi is a dedicated community organizer, public health professional, PhD student and co-founder of the Black Public Health Collective. She lives and works on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. With a strong commitment to addressing health and social inequities through a systems-change and equity lens, her work and research focus on the experiences and health of underserved youth and migrant communities.
Ilhan works as the health promotion lab manager at RADIUS SFU, where she leads two health equity-centred programs designed for grassroots organizers, public health professionals, and social entrepreneurs aiming to advance their health equity initiatives. She holds a master of public health degree from the University of Toronto and is a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at SFU.
