StrongerBC Future Skills Grant
The StrongerBC future skills grant is open to British Columbians aged 19 and over. It covers up to $3,500 of eligible short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions. If you’re approved, you can take an eligible program as long as you complete it within 52 weeks.

You must:
- Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person entitled to study in Canada
- Be a B.C. resident and currently live in B.C.
- Be 19 years of age or older or have graduated high school by the start of the program
- Provide consent for 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏto disclose learner information to the Province
- Not be receiving duplicative and/or overlapping funding to cover eligible costs (i.e., grants, loans, scholarships, or other funding that covers the same program costs as the future skills grant)
- Commit to completing your program within 52 weeks and pay remaining program fees if applicable
Note that:
- The grant may have tax implications and you will receive a T4A slip
- The grant is subject to a lifetime maximum of $3,500
- Five days before the start of your first course, your entire grant is non-refundable
