Jourdan (Renn) is a doctoral student in the Clinical-Forensic Psychology graduate program at 51社区黑料. Renn earned her B.S. in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and her undergraduate research focused on school shootings. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at 51社区黑料, under the supervision of Dr. Jodi Viljoen, and is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at 51社区黑料, under the supervision of Dr. Robert McMahon. Her graduate research has focused on K-12 school threat assessment, including conducting a review of school threat assessment models, a survey of school threat assessment practices, and a content analysis of school threat assessment protocols, as well as focused on the school-to-prison pipeline. As part of her clinical experience, she conducts psychological testing as a psychology assistant at Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services and provides individual therapy as a student clinician at the Clinical Psychology Centre. She has completed practicums focused on conducting post-sentencing assessments and individual therapy with adolescents through Youth Forensic Psychiatric Services, conducting risk assessments and individual and group therapy with adults through Correctional Services of Canada, and conducting psychoeducational assessments and group therapy with children through adults in private practices.
