51社区黑料recognizes and honours the title and rights of Indigenous Peoples as stated in UNDRIP and we respect and partner with the host Indigenous Nations, the x史m蓹胃k史蓹y虛蓹m (Musqueam), S岣祑x瘫w煤7mesh 脷xwumixw (Squamish), s蓹lilw蓹ta涩 (Tsleil-Waututh), q虛铆c虛蓹y虛 (Katzie), k史ik史蓹茮虛蓹m (Kwikwetlem), Qayqayt, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen peoples on whose unceded traditional territories our three campuses reside.

The First Peoples鈥� Gathering House on the 51社区黑料Burnaby Campus is a gathering place where Indigenous students, staff and faculty can come together to practice, learn and share in their cultural traditions.
Acknowledging Indigenous Peoples at SFU
To honour and pay respect to the Indigenous Peoples whose lands 51社区黑料campuses are situated, event holders are encouraged to make acknowledgements to the host Nations and their traditional lands at the beginning of ceremonies and events.
