Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the 51社区黑料Beedie School of Business?

51社区黑料Beedie School of Business stands out for its strong reputation and rigorous academic environment, which was what I was looking for. What attracted me most, however, was finance professor, Peter Charles Klein. During my junior year of college, I took an economics course that required writing a paper on how corporate governance impacts stock performance. At the time, I had limited knowledge of stocks and capital markets. While researching, I discovered one of Professor Klein鈥檚 articles, which transformed my understanding of stocks and introduced me to foundational financial concepts. His work greatly inspired me and ignited my interest in the financial industry. Since then, I鈥檝e wanted to meet him and have a conversation.

What has been your moment or experience at Beedie so far? What are you looking forward to?

My experience at Beedie so far has been incredibly rewarding. In the nearly two months that I鈥檝e been here, I鈥檝e been impressed by how patient and supportive the professors are. They鈥檝e not only helped me deepen my understanding of financial concepts but have also given me the confidence to apply this knowledge practically. I鈥檓 looking forward to expanding my financial expertise further and actively participating in more school activities. I鈥檓 excited to meet more peers, build lasting friendships, and support each other throughout our academic journey.
