Research Interests

My main scholarly focus is writing: what it is, how it works, how people do it and learn to do it. My research interests include second language writing; language variation, error, and ideology; academic writing and publishing; the globalization of English and higher education; and the intersection of academic integrity and academic literacies. 

Please note that I have a teaching-focused appointment, and thus I cannot be the senior supervisor of MA or PhD students. I am able to co-supervise with another faculty member if you are interested in working with me.
