Master of Arts in International Studies alumni, Evan and Tori

International Studies courses are interdisciplinary, integrating insights from political science, anthropology, history, geography, economics, and more, along with perspectives from communities, activists, policymakers, and artists. By including multiple perspectives, our courses foster critical thinking and the ability to synthesize diverse viewpoints, preparing students to navigate global challenges with nuanced insight and flexibility.

Our courses are taught by experts who bring their cutting-edge research and real-world experiences into the classroom. We centre students’ active engagement and experiential learning so that students gain in-depth knowledge and transferable skills in analytical thinking, research, and communication.

Learn more about our courses below. Outlines are posted as they are received from instructors. Course schedules can be viewed on the . Course offerings are subject to change.
