Our Philosophy Major provides students with a solid education in philosophy and with analytical skills useful for work across all disciplines. The Honours in Philosophy program is for students who are capable of self-direction and who wish to pursue advanced work in philosophy with the benefit of individual attention.

Thinking about going to Law School, or interested in Public Policy? Take a look at our new Joint Major in Business, Philosophy and the Law and at our major and minor options in the Concentration in Law & Philosophy. Studies show that Philosophy majors outperform most other majors both on the LSAT entrance exam, and are exceptionally well equiped to make the transition to law school. 

Already have a major, but find that certain aspects of Philosophy pique your interest?  Consider adding a Philosophy minor, the Social Data Analytics Minor or one of our two Certificate Programs: the Certificate in Ethics or the Certificate in Philosophy and Methodology of Science.
