Below is a recommended course map for secondary school entrants in the SFU-Exeter Accelerated Law Program's Philosophy major. This is to ensure students meet the admission requirements to the University of Exeter Law School and that they are on track to complete the program within 6 years.

  • PHIL 105 (Q) (3)
  • 1 Lower division elective B-Sci
Year One

Spring Term

Complete 12 units.

  • PHIL 203 (3)
  • PHIL 221 (3)
  • 1 Lower division elective B-Sci
Year One

Summer Term

Complete 12 units.

  • PHIL 110 (Q) (3)
  • 300 Level PHIL History  or M&E (3)
  • 300 Level PHIL History or M&E (3)
  • 1 Lower division elective B-Soc
Year Two

Fall Term

Complete 12 units. 

  • PHIL 201 (3)
  • PHIL 326 (3)
  • PHIL 329 (3)
  • 300 Level PHIL Ethics
Year Two

Spring Term

Complete 12 units. 

  • 300 Level Ethics (3)
  • 300 Level PHIL (3)
  • 2 upper division courses (6)

Students must be in good academic standing (CGPA 3.0 or higher) by the end of this term. 

Year Two

Summer Term

Students typically do not take courses as they prepare for transition to the University of Exeter. 

Year Three to Five

University of Exeter

Students complete the LLB degree program at Exeter.

Year Six

Fall Term

Complete 15 units. 

Year Six

Spring Term

Complete 15 units.
