Format:
- First-come, first-served basis
- Advising time is limited to 15 minutes per student
- Wait times depend on the number of students in the queue
- The drop-in queue closes either when we reach capacity or 30 minutes before the scheduled end time, whichever comes first
- If your question requires more time, an advisor may schedule a follow-up meeting
鈿狅笍 Complex Cases
If you are experiencing complex circumstances, such as:
- A refused study or work permit application
- A study/work permit application complicated by critical incidents, academic standing, financial holds, or a leave of absence
- An urgent or time-sensitive application (e.g. your permit has expired or will expire within a week)
- Being denied entry to Canada or required to leave the country

Unable to Join the Meeting?
Troubleshooting Zoom Drop-in
The waiting room will be locked once we reach capacity for the Zoom drop-in session, and you will see the message 鈥淭he meeting has been locked by the host鈥� (see example).
Depending on the number of students in the queue, the waiting room may be locked before the scheduled drop-in time.
