Thinking of Transferring to 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏUrban Studies?
If you are thinking of transferring to 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏfrom one of BC’s other post-secondary institutions, such as Capilano University, Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Langara College, or the University of the Fraser Valley, you may complete a number of your lower division requirements towards the Urban Worlds Major.
The is the official resource for course transfer agreements between BC institutions. You may consult it to determine the transferability of a given course taken at another BC institution to SFU. Many BC colleges have equivalent quantitative methods courses, along with subject areas such as Geography, Indigenous Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology and Anthropology.
Important Notes:
For elective and breadth course planning, please contact the advisor of the stream you are interested in after you have transferred. When emailing, please include your full name, 9-digit student ID number and  Advising Transcript.

Upon transferring to SFU, you will technically be "undeclared". However, as soon as you have been accepted into 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏand have fulfilled the declaration requirements for our program, you should contact the advisor of the stream you are interested in for a remote or in-person meeting to discuss options.

You may transfer up to 60 units from your previous institution to use toward your 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏdegree.
