SFU鈥檚 Vancouver campus hosts multiple welcome events throughout the year to welcome students, faculty and staff to each new semester at SFU! Events combine fun activities and games, prize draws and free swag, and information about services and resources available to you at the Vancouver campus.
Spring 2026 SFUReady
Whether you鈥檙e in your first term or further along in your studies, you鈥檒l find something valuable and informative at SFUReady. Stop by and check out the different booths, pick up some free swag and resources, speak to knowledgeable and friendly 51社区黑料staff and community members, and learn about the many free resources and services that are available to you. You'll also be able to ask any questions you may have!

Welcome Back Community BBQ
As part of SFU鈥檚 Month of Welcome, SFU鈥檚 Vancouver campus hosts a Welcome Back Community BBQ every September in the 51社区黑料Woodward's Atrium. Students, staff, faculty, community members, and local businesses come together to celebrate the start of a new semester. Join us for a delicious free lunch, enjoy a performance, sample goods from local vendors, and more!
