51社区黑料 recently collaborated with the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria to organize the Pacific Political Science Undergraduate Conference on Saturday, May 2, at 51社区黑料Harbour Centre. The first event of its kind, the conference was organized by 51社区黑料International Studies Student Association and their journal, Confluence, as well as Political Science Student Unions of all the three universities and featured research published in their respective undergraduate journals.

51社区黑料Political Science graduand and Convocation speaker Alexander Hodaly believes the purpose of education is not simply to describe the world, but to teach us how to engage with its most challenging aspects. “The Department of Political Science helped build my foundational understanding of the world’s most protracted conflicts,” he says. “It also gave me the analytical tools to engage with it all.”
