Meet your TechTeam mentors for 2025
Spencer Horii | 2nd year SIAT student
Hey guys, I’m Spencer! Formerly an apprentice electrician studying at BCIT, I am currently a second-year transfer student here at 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏmajoring in SIAT. My passions within our program include game design, motion graphics, and UI/UX design. Outside of the school community, you can find me hiking local mountains, bouldering, designing, or feeding my delusions of being able to travel again this year. I make up half of the team running TechTeams this fall, and I’m eager to share my experiences, create opportunities for you to learn from other experienced SIAT mentors, and help foster a supportive and welcoming community. I look forward to seeing you all soon!
Valisha Angelina | 2nd year SIAT student
Hi guys, I’m Valisha! I transferred from FIC and I’m currently approaching my third year in SIAT. I’m considering taking the Game Design concentration as my interests include motion graphics and 3D modelling, and more recently narratives in media. I come from Indonesia so I understand the struggles of settling in as an international student. When I’m free, I like to draw, read, and watch a lot of different things. As the other half of TechTeams this fall, I look forward to share my experiences and help new students get familiar with what SAIT has to offer, as well as creating a community everyone can be comfortable in. I hope I can help your journey in SIAT and I’m excited to meet you all!
