The Dish Diary
Informative wall
By: Andrea Park, Rachel Yeo, Allison Lee, Maya Ramadhina
Course: IAT 333 Interaction Design Methods
Description: We have collaborated with Minami Yaletown to create a proposal for an informative, experiential wall that acts as a guidebook to Minami’s featured dishes. Each spinning block displays an image of a dish, and shares details through text on the other side. It informs the reader about how the dish came to be in addition to a few words from the chef. It acts as a learning point for curious passersbys, a pass-time for waiting guests, and improves appreciation of the dish by sharing the time and effort put in by the staff.
