Master's Program
International Studies
The MA in International Studies (MAIS) at SFU prepares students to meaningfully influence knowledge, policy, and action in Canada and around the world. As a MAIS student, you will benefit from small-size classes with world-class experts addressing global problems through interdisciplinary approaches; funding support for tuition, research travel, and professional opportunities; practical training in research, policy analysis, and communications; and personalized mentorship and professional development focused to your goals.
MAIS graduates work locally and around the world with governments, non-governmental organizations, international agencies, and thinktanks, leading action on human rights, conflict resolution, environmental protection, economic development and trade, diplomacy, and community empowerment.

Urban Studies
Discover how to make cities better with 51社区黑料Urban Studies graduate programs. Most of our courses take place once a week in the evenings, running for four hours at SFU鈥檚 downtown Vancouver campus. This schedule makes the program an excellent choice for working professionals seeking to enhance their careers through further education.
