FASS Camps Surrey
New to 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏthis upcoming Fall (September) term? Excited to discover some of the many academic, social and professional opportunities and options available to you as a FASS student?
Attend a FASS Camp on June 29 or June 30! We're hosting day-long workshops to help you kickstart your 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏjourney at either Burnaby or Surrey campus. Each day will consist of three key elements (advising support, academic lectures and connection with mentors), so you only need to attend one day.
Surrey FASS Camps
During FASS Camps at the Surrey Campus (9:30am - 3:30pm), you will:
- Make some new FASS friends and explore some vibrant FASS programs and departments with current FASS student mentors
- Enjoy a free lunch, which caters to all dietary needs
- Receive in-person course planning support for the upcoming registration for Fall term with your First Year Academic Advisor
- Get hands on experience and professional guidance in a computer lab with the enrolment (course selection) process
- Receive some exclusive FASS swag
- Discover key buildings, study spots, eateries and lounge spaces around your campus
FASS Camps will provide you with information about program choices in FASS, services and support offered by FASS and 51ÉçÇøºÚÁÏas well as practical advice about how to succeed in university.
Please note: FASS Camps is not an overnight event. The start and end time for your day is 9:30am-3:30pm. Limited capacity. $25 attendance fee for the one day.
Meeting location for each day will be determined. Guests will be notified of the itinerary and meeting locations mid-June.
