Paul McCullough

Biography

Paul McCullough is a senior executive with deep experience in both the private sector and post-secondary education. He most recently served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Canada's premier polytechnic institution with approximately 50,000 students. Prior to BCIT, Paul held progressive senior leadership roles at internationally recognized organizations including KPMG (where he served as Principal), HSBC, and Unilever. As Vice President of Advancement at BCIT, he architected INSPIRE, the largest fundraising campaign in the institution's history, successfully raising over $100 million in private sector support and doubling the size of BCIT's endowment fund. Paul is known for his ability to drive successful transformational change initiatives and his leadership style rooted in embracing bold ideas and promoting creativity. He is a staunch advocate for accessible education that empowers individuals and contributes to regional economic prosperity.
