Biography

Ravi Ramamurti is the University Distinguished Professor of International Business and Strategy and Director of the Center for Emerging Markets at the D鈥檃more-McKim School of Business, Northeaster University and a Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB). He received his B.Sc. (Physics) from Delhi University, his MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad and his DBA from Harvard Business School. He has been a visiting professor at HBS, MIT-Sloan, CEIBS-Shanghai, IMD-Lausanne, and the Wharton School. His research focuses on strategy and innovation in emerging economies as well as business-government relations in emerging economies. He has published several articles and books on multinationals from emerging markets and on the topic of 鈥渞everse innovation.鈥� He teaches courses on the global business environment and global strategy, and electives on Competing in Emerging Markets.
